There is no reason to debate virtually. They can be 10 feet apart separated by a glass shield which is now typical at many stores and medical facilities.

Actually I think President Trump should send out a tweet agreeing to let Joe debate from his basement with as many “fact-checkers” and assistants on hand as needed. Ten minute breaks after each question. Hell, let Joe have a teleprompter to read off of.
