While I believe this to be a case of self-defense from the footage available (along with the information now out that those shot ALL had significant criminal records - including one rapist, I will say this: I still have a problem with the fact that a 17 year old was out in this situation with an AR-15. Even in Texas he wouldn’t be allowed out in public with a long gun without parental/guardian superivision, yet in this case not only was he out there AFTER CURFEW - but apparently his Mom dropped him off there in Kenosha (about 20 minutes drive from where he lives) - there is no way that she didn’t know he was taking an AR-15.
Do you know who is fighting it? Here in New Jersey the number one gun "crime" is possessing one without permission from the almighty state. You need a permit to purchase and a carry permit if you choose to take it outside your home or business. Carry permits are almost never issued to the unconnected, and you must show a "need" to even be considered. All of that is a clear infringement in my eyes.

Someone fired at least 12 shots at him with what sounded like a handgun as he was walking away towards the police. I hope there is video of the lousy marksman who fired those rounds. You can hear them as Kyle is walking back toward the cops.

That would be rich if the coroner found a pistol round still in the pedo’s head. The shootings after that were clearly self defense. Only the first one is in question and not all that questionable to me because Kyle was being chased, having things thrown at him, yelled at him, handguns going off etc.

You are correct. From what I saw it looked like a relatively small entrance wound like from a small-caliber pistol. Any .223 round hit him in the head and there would not be much head left. Its hard to do head shots with an AR at close range because the iron sights are high relative to the bore so unless you’re well-trained the bullet will hit several inches below the point of aim
I don’t know but he tried to go back and the police wouldn’t let him.
