“Your job is to protect your community, whether it’s on the other side of a border a couple miles away or not. Lines don’t matter, blood and friendships do. They are obviously going to try and vilify these guys because they aren’t the cowardly weasels the politicians and LEO administrators are in the affected areas.

“Get ready for the “Nitro Wagon” that’s obviously coming down a bumpy road. The communists don’t have a choice now. There is no way they will win the Presidential election without a Coup. To those who would say they’re gonna mind their own business till the fight comes to their front porch, keep this in mind. If all you’re going to protect is your front porch and not help with the defense of your community, there’s a good chance that no one from the community will show up to defend your porch when the Orcs arrive there.”

Many years ago in some Midwest town was a bully who terrorized everyone he came upon. One day a crowd of people surrounded him and he got shot and killed. Not one person in that crowd saw a thing. There were zero witnesses. I would guess that similar things will start to happen to these looters. Buckshot goes a long way and the ballistics are very difficult to trace. Similarly the creedmore bullet from 800 yards. This crap can’t continue, people are getting tired of it and will eventually rise up and make it stop.

It’s very heartening the way that virtually all of conservatism has rallied behind this 17 year old. It’s to the point that the media is shying away from the story. None of that would be the case if he had shot two black men. But that’s not what happened this time. They couldn’t find any “racist” stuff on his social media, and the people he shot were Caucasian. The agitation will continue until The Left gets a better shooter and victims for their purposes. For right now, they want to talk about hurricanes.

Amazing. This just shows how damned stupid Don Lemon is.

The Democrats are NOT ignoring it.

They are encouraging it.

What is interesting is that his remark is an open admission that the Democrat Party has not come out and spoken in ANY way, shape, or form to condemn the rioting, arson, violence, and looting. Not Nancy Pelosi. Not Chuck Schumer. Not even the Leftist governors or mayors.

There are two reasons for that:

That is it. It isn't any more complicated than that. So, hearing Don Lemon say the Democrats were ignoring it does two things:

What is happening right now that is bugging him out, and shows how stupid he is, is that he and some others on the left now are getting all worked up into a lather, not because the country is being set afire, people killed or injured, businesses and homes being lost, and otherwise being ripped apart by these criminals, but because the polls are not only showing the Leftist politicians like Biden and others completely tanking, but Trump's polling is going up.

The People aren't eating the Leftist Dog Food, and that is becoming apparent to them now. If there is any humor to be found in this darkness, it is watching the Left being hoisted on their own petard.

Don't bet your life on it. If there is a great disparity in physicality, like a 250 pound young adult assaulting or battering a 100 pound elderly person. Deadly force could be employed by the victim or another to stop the threat.

As one already pointed out in Texas force is authorized to prevent the commission of a immediate class A felony which are homicide, rape, assault, home invasion, kidnapping, arson..ARSON, burglary of a habitation, and specifically at night burglary and or vandalism of a vehicle.

The use of force is authorized against a fleeing felon if the person witnessed the commission of said felony and a reasonable person would belive that allowing the felon to escape would risk further harm to themselves or others.

In Texas the authorization of force ALWAYS INCLUDES DEADLY FORCE. The use of force in Texas implies the explicit authorization of serious bodily injury and or death. If one is authorized to use force they automatically are expected to be using deadly force.

Texas penal code also has provisions authorizing the use of force for the protection and defense of a third party in immediate danger of serious bodily injury, as well as a provision for the protection of a third party property at the employment OR request of the property owner at which point that person is an acting agent of the land/property owner with all the rights and privileges under the penal code as the owner. Best to have that in duplicate in writing and I speak to this from professional experience again have authorization from the lawful owner IN WRITING can I it again HAVE IT IN WRITING. I have seen people get locked up for specifically this when they’re “buddy” or neighbor “said” watch their property.

I am a 11 LEO veteran at the federal level and county level in the Great State of Texas.

Exactly.

In these areas where the authorities REFUSE to enforce the rule of law and protect people and property, I feel it is perfectly justified for people to defend themselves, their property, their community, and ultimately, their country

The real problem is, the same authorities that refuse to uphold the law and ENFORCE it as is their JOB, they seem to have no problem at all jailing and prosecuting people who have the effrontery to defend themselves, their property, their community, and ultimately, their country.

These last two statements by me illustrate one thing that I and many of us have long known: This is a political effort on the part of the Left, not an organic uprising by people who have been wronged.

Bill Whittle said back in August of 2016 in his excellent video “Black Lives Matter Kills People” where he wondered aloud where all the money flowing into Black Lives Matter was coming from, and what does an organization like Black Lives Matter DO with hundreds of millions (by now, I am certain with all the corporate shakedowns, it must be billions now) of dollars, and he baldly stated: Black Lives Matter is simply Democrat Street Muscle.

That’s it in a nutshell. And that is what they are doing, carrying out the tasks that street muscle have always carried out: “Nice family you have...wouldn’t want anything bad to happen to them.”

They aren’t even that subtle or nuanced. Recently, Black Lives Matter Leader Hawk Newsome told the host interviewing him, “if this country doesn’t give us what we want, then we will burn down this system and replace it. All right? And I could be speaking ... figuratively. I could be speaking literally. It’s a matter of interpretation.”

Well, he is speaking literally, no doubt.

"No, not unless hired as an agent of the property owners."

And to further complicate that, in most states, if you accept payment for, or even extend the offer to provide armed security, you are required to be licensed through the state to do so.

“And the prevailing rule in self defense situations in any event is “you cannot shoot an unarmed opponent.”

Only in enemy occupied territories, in free states such as Texas you only have the believe as a reasonable person would that the aggressor means to cause you serious bodily harm, thats it the exact wording of the law. I got jumped off 6th walking back to my truck after a shift at the bar during college. Rounding the corner heading to my parking meter spot. There was a struggle I was a CCW at the time and got my boot gun a keltec P3AT in 380 fired it 3 times at belly button distance. The idiot bleed out before the medics got there he was “unarmed” except for trying to beat my head into the concrete. Mandatory grand jury review it was no billed after a 20 minute review. I carry that little P3 with me everywhere its my AMEX never leave home without it little thing saved my life.

“..What I’m wondering is if thousands of militia show up and cops try to arrest say 50 people who move through a massive crowd and the cops can’t get to them even just because of the sheer number blocking them, what will come of it?...”

At that point, the Blue will either join in or will be “physically restrained” until the battle is over.

Remember: These rioters have allies high up in government. You do not. They will roast you alive as an example to others if they can do so.

That bears repeating. Occasionally the Democrats in power align themselves with mobs who attack their opponents. The goal is to terrorize the public so that the Democrats can increase their power. We are seeing Democrats go after a young man defending himself from a mob attack in every way they can.

Instead of recognizing Kyle Rittenhouse was a victim of a mob attack the Democrats and their media allies attack him. The only difference from the past when Democrats in government did the same thing is that the mobs are now wearing black bandannas instead of white hoods.

Our side just has to be smarter about how we defend our communities. Kudos to Kyle for courage, but his plan sucked. Only his good shooting kept him alive, but probably won’t keep him out of prison.

Save us all the nonsense about Libertarians.

First off, the motivations of the people trying to defend the auto dealership and gas station aren't relevant. They may well have told the interviewers and the people trying to start fights with them that they supported BLM. The same way police officers may well say the same thing to defuse a tense situation. What police chief would go out at a press conference and say what they really believed if it happened to disagree with what is politically correct? Someone whose goal was to prevent violence and protect a business would be totally justified in saying their group is not opposed to the rioters. That's just common sense.

Stop with the disinformation.

Not true. The questions are innocence, risk of harm, and imminence. Getting chased by a mob with multiple people attacking you certainly crosses the line. When you avoid harming the unarmed, or the armed who are not yet attacking you, but only harm the individuals attacking you with weapons, or holding a pistol, that seems like a strong case for self defense.

I spend fifty dollars per month on concealed carry insurance. The only time i would ever use lethal force is to protect myself or others. A stolen tv rates a call to the police and nothing more.
