Media bias: "Language department " Sorry to watch also the drive-by-media when it defines the riots. Portland or Kenosha.
* Peaceful protest becomes "emotional"
* "Angrey".
* "Clashes".
* "mostly peaceful" "only some" are violent.
What is your favorite?
“Angry” is probably most outrageous...of course most violent acts ever are “angry” acts.
I think the one that got me was when the reportress was claiming CHOPZ had a “block party atmosphere”, even as an agitator contradicted her right into her microphone.
“Activists”
If they were right-wingers you can be sure the mass media would be calling them a lot of names but not “activists”.
“The morning of Dec 7th, 1941 was ‘mostly peaceful’, until the Japanese showed-up.”
“President Kennedy’s trip to Dallas was ‘mostly peaceful’, until a Leftist-Communist opened a 4th floor window.”
Any increase in COVID cases or fatalities is a SURGE or a SPIKE.
“Black” instead of “black”.
“white” is always “white” unless it’s the first word in a sentence.
Sadly, I see many F.R. members, sheepishly following along.
I agree with your sentiment.
This is Noam Chomsky whole raison d’être, using language to forward a radical agenda.
Any time they say “mostly peaceful”, what that actually means is that they were somewhat violent.
Can I fight a speeding ticket by saying I “mostly drive below the speed limit”?
Scott Peterson was a “mostly” law abiding citizen until he murdered his wife.
O.J. Simpson was “mostly” peaceful except the night he stabbed his ex-wife and her boyfriend.
Noam is as extremist as they come. And an inciter too.
