Headline makes it sound like there are time-traveling drones in existence.

Interesting but...is this really news?
One can see it on the satellite images and Im betting someone long ago noticed it via arial.
Honestly it seems people using their little toys are getting too much 15 min of fame.

If it troubles you so much, perhaps you could just avoid the topic.

I want one of those little toys. They allow us to see things in ways we never did before.

:: and is located -86 cm lower than the current sea level ::
So, the seas have been rising at least 86cm for the last 2400 years.
Those SUCs strike again.

That end of the Med is (mostly) sinking into the Earth. A search on Herod's Caesarea port, or submerged Anatolian tombs, or submerged Greek cities / Helike will turn up enough to keep most people busy all day. :^)

People should check out the video. The water is clear blue and the old port is easily visible. Really cool.
To: SunkenCiv
Its not a dig at you. Its about the article.
Its a legitimate question, no?
surely this was seen before. Heck they even have a lighttower on the end of the old pier.
I can see it looking on the maps app.

Yeah, really, pretty boring American prehistory AFA anyone knows. Not everything in Greece is 2500 years old, some is much older.

Yes, your dig is about the article, which is what this topic is about. If you'd had a question, it would have been something that someone besides the Amazing Kreskin could answer.

I apologize for seeming flippant.
I guess its not really a news article, just an info article. Its just the way they presented it seemed like something new had been found!
Im glad to see something interesting but the headline and lead-in made it seem like an archaeological find.
