Thanks for adding me to the ping list. This provides a real history lesson. I was struck by both the humor about love being portrayed as a child and the picture of Lincoln balancing on a high wire.
My wife and I took an Abraham Lincoln tour last September in Springfield Illinois and the strongest impression I carried with me was the political cartoons that blasted Lincoln for just about everything he did. So is the media today really that much different?
