What an age of insanity -the players refusing to play the games as a protest... and I bet they expect to get paid any way!
Now this stupidity will spread to the NFL; to blazes with the whole kit and kaboodle. These spoiled brats don't even understand that they are not millionaires because they are entitled - it because they earn it by attracting fans to watch them play. {Leave aside that they are paid over 100 times what they are worth!}
The NBA players are demanding that the owners become vocal in supporting the players idea of justice. Perhaps they can stand outside the team headquarters and scream for the owners to get out and turn the team over to them.

In his statement he says that social solidarity within the cause is not enough.

So, according to King James, the riots across the country are simply GOTV events by/for the Democrats.
Maybe we should play along with them?
Maybe media on “our” side can report from the next “Democrat GOTV” event.

In honor of the return of Bagster, and his remaining here for over a week, I finally made my quarterly donation to FR.
In comments, of course, I put “WWG1WGA” just in case they were wondering where my mind was at.
I am with you Bob. I may be only a molecule in a lake (i know smaller than a drop in a bucket) but I have more value than they think. We've got 5 married kids, 24 grandkids and other assorted family for whom Christmas gifts are needed. Up to now, sports team merchandise has been an easy gift we know will be loved. Even for the family groups where a name or a game played those have been easy gifts that have come to be normal from us. This year the kids have already gotten my memo as to why they will not be receiving those items from Granny and Grampa. The sports teams have handed me a prime red-pill carrier and the discussions have begun. Thank you NASCAR, NFL, NBA and MLB.

All the owners missed their chances to preserve their investments and HELP THE NATION by telling these overgorwn children to stand to the Anthem and show up for work, or "You're fired!"
ESPN is owned by Disney, and there are rumors (I follow some pop culture you tubers) that the "woke" culture is getting ready to hit a brick wall at the mouse house. Right now, they're losing a LOT of money. Even before the shut down, Galaxy's Edge totally underperformed. The last few Star Wars movies have been far less successful than they should have been. The next planned phase of Marvel movies has been greeted with yawns.
Supposedly, the edict is coming down that Disney personalities will quit insulting fans, and start trying to make movies that appeal to the audience again.
I'm going to be watching the situation (not the sports) with interest, cause I'm not sure upper management is going to be thrilled with the ESPN talking heads encouraging sports franchises to kill their seasons.
