I’d never heard of grits until I was in the Marine Corps and stationed at Camp Lejeune. I went on a trip to Disneyland and my one and only encounter with grits was at a restaurant down there. I didn’t like them one bit and have never tried them again. I don’t know anyone who eats the stuff and I never see them on anyone’s breakfast table.

Cmon over sometime, and Ill cook up a right nice Southern breakfast for you. Bacon or ham, served with eggs however youd like, with sides of cheesy grits, fried green tomatoes (also a specialty of mine), and toast. Coffee or tea and freshly squeezed orange juice, too! Youll be pleasantly filled and it will carry you through many hours of hard work! 😉
