Congressional "Investigations" are nothing but opportunities for the politicians to preen before TV cameras. They have no power to indict, and RISK jeopardizing the REAL CASE (if any).
The actual purpose of Congressional Committees is to gain information and oversight concerning legislation ... NOT to apply criminal justice.
