Any other time you might be right but if you are an out of towner you need to respect their people and their pandemic rules.
1. short-term vacation rentals aren’t allowed in Hawaii right now. 2. public beach - where wedding permits are not being issued.
And if I was a local, let’s say I am a landlord following the rules or let’s say I am a wedding business following the rules. I am going to be PO’d if others can break them and I can’t.
So the beach is open for surfers but not people who specifically are sharing vows before God? Sounds like a law suit to me. Same with restricting rights of homeowners as to how they use their property. How much of this, like mask mandates, are not really laws (as in passed by an elected legislature) but really unconstitutional dictates of a few? If I was a local wedding business owner, I would be PO’d about such restrictions arbitrarily placed on my business.
Being in the right doesnt excuse such boorish behavior
