Very nice letter. God bless and good luck!
Welcome to 'Old Age'! I been doing that for years!................
God bless you Mrs. Warrior! My husband suffered a stroke seven years ago, every day is a blessing and I feel greedy always praying for more. In that time he has really found Jesus and that is the best blessing if all. Be well.
You may want to have your thyroid levels checked.
We know exactly what you are saying, today is our 57th Wedding Anniversary, I keep telling my wife if she goes first to save me a seat. Blessings
Good day, Mrs. Warrior-
Lovely ping, this morning.
Have you checked into seeing if you need a CPAP machine? I was having that issue (falling asleep at the drop of a pin and never feeling rested) and once I started using a CPAP the majority of the ‘sleepiness’ faded.
Decades ago I have a mental breakdown (brain fart, as I called it). It left me with limited memory and a mental word dictionary that is decreased.
Like you, I am grateful for the Lord God’s gift of His Son, Jesus. I wish my walk were better; having come so far from the left, I often think it’s mileage varies with folks. Still, so, so, grateful!
So glad for your beloved being with you. :) Hug him, hold him, and cherish him each moment you can, while you can.
Peace and God bless to you and yours.
hi and thanks for wonderful posting, age has certainly NOT harmed your thinking!!!!
as for day naps, they are healthy for you (will likely keep you healthy longer, too). i can understand they might be a problem if they are too extensive but really a couple hours snoozing during the day is not a bad thing! Siesta time! (Mexican culture knows something we gringos up norte should learn!!!!!!!)
obviously, stay in close tough with your doctors always anyway... and yes i firmly believe that some supplements (certainly a good multi vitamin, I add extra Vitamin C since Linus Pauling was one of my professors, and you can carefully take it from there). i also am a big advocate (though I don’t quite do it 100 percent, maybe 75%) of a healthy careful diet (very important imho) which is heavy on vegies, fruits, grains, nuts, berries. ((I am not on it but the Adventist diet has some spectacular reports about it, and its a vegie diet... it is interesting to read about it even if you may choose against it... i will try to add link below for you, see what you think... if you want to last longer in pretty good condition, its definitely worth a look from what I can see of SDA friends who are on it, last one that died was 105 (or 103?) and in good shape to the end, smile smile) I have another couple SDA friends on that diet and they’re 80 and still drive across country on vacation trips, the only thing I can add about their diet is that the commercial fake meat products have all been disappointing, I’ve had to give them all away they all tasted yucky, but within their community some of the women do know how to make DELICIOUS fake meat meals using healthier things like cashews, etc, so you may wish to try to find one of the older SDA ladies if she will share her cooking secrets with you)smile smile
meanwhile, your mind is perfect and all that matters is that you are there for each other. whether one or both of you take naps or not is no big deal so far as a relationship is concerned. Enjoy each new day!
(prayer) Thanks for posting.

Research hyperbaric oxygen to your brain injury.
Good morning!
Sleep. For some it comes so easily. Those who find it only with difficulty would consider others to be fortunate.
We gladly live the days we have been given, making the best of each. To be able to share these with an understanding soulmate helps to keep us grounded and anxiously awaiting the next sunrise.
Have a bless-ed day, sister in Christ.
I thought the suggestion to check into if you might need a CPAP was a good suggestion. But you also might want to ask your physician about buying an oximeter, it’s a rather inexpensive device that checks your oxygen level.
Since you have had a brain injury, it could be a possibility that your brain is not getting the signal to your lungs to breath right. I have MS, and my brain was
definitely not giving the right signal to my lungs. So I took hourly readings with an oximeter for a few days. The readings were low, and I found that when I reached a certain number, it would cause me to nod off. They had me try using oxygen around the house and it has worked wonders. I’m alert all day, no nodding off because it keeps my oxygen level above 92..
I’m no doctor, but when you mentioned brain injury this just alerted me to the oxygen problem I have.
It was a lovely post, thanks for posting.
