What has happened to conservapedia.com? I haven't been able to access it for the last few days. The website appears to have disappeared. Does anyone know what happened to it?

It came up when I typed it’s address in the address bar. It could be just you or your connection.

Try using HTTP and not HTTPS.

http://www.conservapedia.com/Main_Page

Their HTTPS service is using a self-signed certificate, which your browser may not allow you to proceed (Chrome will after warnings).

The main page comes up but all the links give an error.

It is still there.

FireFox and other newer browsers are rejecting the page since it has a self-signed certificate.

So until they fix it, lower your security settings in a browser that you seldom use, and use that browser to go to

http://www.conservapedia.com/Main_Page

Now that everything on the web (in most browsers) is set up to be “https://"; , you will need to use this link to get there.

It's still there.

For some reason there's an error message:

"Invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because it is self-signed. SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER"

Firefox allows you to bypass the error.

Try again, they now have a legitimate certificate.

My guess on this is that Conservapedia is being subjected to a denial-of-service attack by liberal trolls who want to censor and silence the site and keep it from being seen by other visitors because said trolls hate and fear the truth. They mock and ridicule the site and claim it is “full of falsehoods” and the like, but if this were actually the case, would they actually be going to any of the lengths they have to try to block the site from view? Highly unlikely.
