I mean, seriously! She can afford to pay him "spousal support" whatever the hell that is!
That’s the way it goes in Hollywood. When the wife changes from not guilty to guilty, it’s time to trade her in for a younger model.
Why so many cracks in the post about the wife or it’s worth it to stay single. The dude cheated on his wife. Of 20+ Years which means she was around when he was a nobody and they probably didn’t have much. Why isn’t she entitled to support?

Our library has a rest home next door to it and I say that’s all anyone needs. Across the street is our chiropractor and a block down the street is the medical building where our doctors are and ER and hospital. Can’t think of anything else I need when the time comes. Let me keep my mind and just keep the books coming! Every day in today’s world, a small bit of the mind goes nuts!!!! You’re going to be well taken care of - I should have had more than one child!
I wonder how old the “children” are that he has to pay child support. After 20+ years of marriage, they are probably adults - college age? Shouldn’t that be he pays for their college expenses? Just guessing.

Now that you mention it, my apartment building by the library is also half a mile or so from the hospital.
Its only drawback is not being near my church. Maybe the county will arrange a conjunction of apartment/library/bar closer to the church in the next decade.

I like your thinking. That reminded me that our library is supposed to move to a new location but it doesn’t appear that much is going on at the new location. I don’t like it at all - right in downtown traffic.
I’m with you. It’s amazing how many male Freepers apparently think it’s acceptable behavior for a man to cheat on his wife because after 5 kids she no longer has the same body she did pre-pregnancy. Adultery is a sin, regardless of gender. You can bet if the shoe were on the other foot and a high-income woman cheated on her long-time husband with a younger man we’d never hear the end of the ranting about chads vs betas. I’m all for men’s equality in family law but male empowerment has become male entitlement.
On a happier note, I’ve seen plenty of immigrants from Asia and Eastern Europe whose sense of masculinity comes from centuries of traditional culture, not the latest PUA nonsense, and who do not need to tear down women to feel like men.
