How’s it going?
Happy hot Sunday, Vision!
Hi Gina, we’ve been cooler with lots of rain. You?
We did get some rain yesterday, but it’s been very “warmy” today. :-D Doing okay, otherwise. You having a good weekend?
Yes, it’s been going fast. Drinking some wine, reading, reheating frozen bbq.
Easy dinner, then. It’s steak night for us.
Yesterday I put some Swiss cheese into some big jalapeño peppers Keith grew. He let them turn red, so they’re sweeter, but they were still pretty hot! I cut them in half lengthwise, cleaned out the seeds and steamed them to soften them, then put the cheese in and put them under the broiler for a few minutes. Last week, he stuffed some with Italian sausage and Swiss and wrapped them in bacon, then put them on the grill. Mmmmm!
Nice. Not sure I’ve seen a read jalapeño before.
It’s just a matter of leaving them on the plant until they turn red. Most japs are harvested when they’re still green, but they would all turn red, given time.
