Easy dinner, then. It’s steak night for us.

Yesterday I put some Swiss cheese into some big jalapeño peppers Keith grew. He let them turn red, so they’re sweeter, but they were still pretty hot! I cut them in half lengthwise, cleaned out the seeds and steamed them to soften them, then put the cheese in and put them under the broiler for a few minutes. Last week, he stuffed some with Italian sausage and Swiss and wrapped them in bacon, then put them on the grill. Mmmmm!

It’s just a matter of leaving them on the plant until they turn red. Most japs are harvested when they’re still green, but they would all turn red, given time.
