If a republic is getting $10 from every person that’s posting vanities we should be good to go this quarter:-)
Obviously, I’m reckless spending OTHER people’s money. J/K. I have donated, but I’ll admit, I might be overdue. So your fundraising pitch MAY have suceeded... I’ll go check.
Also... I don’t post whatever crosses my mind as a new thread or a vanity. I post what I expect amounts to value added for FreeRepublic. Sometimes, I might be wrong; this seems to not be that much of a hit. But if what I hit doesn’t get a bunch of positive comments (including mail responses) and/or a few hundreds comments, I take it as that I’ve let my vanity misestimate that value proposition. I miss the old days when you could see how many people read your posts... I’ve had some that attracted tens of thousands. This won’t be one of those.
