So she didn’t have time to wait in line, but she did have time to drive back home to get “her man” and then drive back to the restaurant? AND spend the rest of her life in prison. Turns out she had plenty of time.

I believe it is illegal...and many times, legal psychotropic drugs are rendering the users incapable of rational thought and behaviour. Includes ethyl alcohol...and even high doses of caffeine. Much more with meth...opiates...cocaine...mdma..synthetic marijuana...the legacy of the psychedelic hippies.
Weak parenting or no parenting is also a factor...
