Fox Baltimore reports that medical units have been called to the scene and Baltimore County firefighters have been called to help.
Several houses exploded. At least 5 people trapped, some children.

Ive seen a city block blow up because someone nicked a gas line under the road. KA-BOOM! (After about 6 hours. )

In my law office days, we once represented a handyman who was fixing a chandelier fixture, which unbeknownst to anyone was built over an old gas-light outlet, which was still full of gas. He got the chandelier working, it gave out a spark, and—KABLOOEY! He got burnt bad, and we eventually got him some money.

I’ve got some outside gas piping that’s pretty rusty but hopefully that’s just cosmetic.
True. Having worked with elderly people in three nursing homes over the years I can say it would be very likely for someone that age to be forgetful and leave the burner on a stove open. It’s sad.
Just think if Ayers had got-— the change of the thread of future history. Would that such travel in time were possible,like a sci-fi movie.
