To: Red Badger

Our home place was hit by lighting and burned to the ground the second week of July. It is dreadful and I would not wish it on my worst enemy. What the fire doesn’t destroy the water does.

The safest place for your things to survive is probably in a waterproof container or even a sack in a drawer. That is what we found. One bedroom was nothing but a charred mess but the dresser and chest of drawers remained as charred boxes. The contents were salvageable right down to pictures. Anything else, pretty much forget about it.
