Everything in Malibu is an effort it’s why they have nanny’s house keepers,lawn rangers.
About the only thin that isn’t an effort is lifting a wine glass and a joint and if your real good at it both at once.

...Does driving a standard _really_ take that much effort??? I tell you what, why don't you do something easy, like 5 miles with 2500' of elevation gain and 2000' of elevation loss for a total of 500' gain, and then report back.

There isn’t a throttle on E bikes. It’s just an assist to your pedal effort.you can set them different ways for how much boost you want.
To me it’s cheating but to each his own.
I’m betting he was practicing with clipped pedals and didn’t get out of them in time.

The are good for sedentary people who somehow, suddenly have to ride a bike. Especially older people.
I have known people who lose their driver license due to a DUI and have to resort to an electric bike to get around...
Or people who work in an office and want to ride a bike to work but don't want to be sweaty when they arrive.
