People are free to worship whatever they want. If these girls want to worship redneck boys, I guess that is their right.

I live on the edge of the South. Redneck t-shirts expressing redneck pride are pretty common and pretty popular especially with the girls. They often feature a Confederate flag. I imagine the girls are in fact quite surprised at the reaction. They posted a picture. As far as I read the story, they didn’t flaunt the picture or the shirt in front of their black classmate, merely posted it on social media. And for that they should be punished?

These girls are not dumb at all. It is Alabama and is part of their culture. It is the black racist cheerleader and her mom who are wrong.
