These girls are not dumb at all. It is Alabama and is part of their culture. It is the black racist cheerleader and her mom who are wrong.
Absolutely part of the culture here in Alabama. We are planning to retire in Baldwin county. It is really nice down there. We currently live near Montgomery. Most blacks don’t care one way or another about the battle flag of the Army of Northern Virginia. They just want to be treated decently and have opportunities to better their lives. A black friend of mine recently told me she wished they would just shut up and leave everyone alone. She does not wish to be judged by their actions.
Any kid who knows how to use social media knows that its toxic to post pictures of themselves with the confederate flag.
Should they get kicked off the team? That is up to the school. I am not able to care about them any less.
Anyone acting “surprised” this has gone “viral” is just not paying attention.
