The nice thing about college football is that the National Anthem is (almost) always played when the players are still in the locker room, so you won’t see any of them kneeling, or standing for that matter.

That works on many levels. I'm not even sure why the national anthem is played before any sports game to be honest.

I don't want to know anybody's politics by looking at their jerseys. One of our US Senators from Georgia is an owner of a WNBA team and her team was wearing jerseys supporting her Democrat opponent. I wonder if that's considered an in-kind contribution of some sort.

The NFL was thinking of going that route, but our side had a fit about that. Somehow it’s OK for college players to be in the locker room, but not the pros.
