Full disclosure: I, too, visited Epstein’s island. Except I didn’t go ashore, although the fishing boat I was on got to within 500 yards or so. Weird looking place. There were yachts in the vicinity down there all the time. We saw one that was huge ... like a small cruise ship. Wonder whose it was.

Just me, and I suppose a private jet is a temptation, but if I had an illegal or questionable purpose, I’d fly commercial to St Thomas, take a cab or ferry to the East End at which point you’ve a choice of multiple harbors at which to hire a boat to take you the mile and a half or so to the island. Means missing the fun on the private jet though. Heck, Ted Kennedy could swim it, there being a larger island in between, probably only a couple thousand feet.
