Does the virus come out at 10:01 pm and attack you on your bar stool? Dewine is a POS.
According to our elite intelligent governors like Phil Murphy, yes
NJ still has the 8 pm curfew, cause the virus only comes out at night
Youngers don’t get to bars until around 9 pm. Then stay late.
Olders are more worried about getting C19 and have been avoiding bars.
DeWhine must exert more control over youngers; lest they dare think they’re immune from gov social control.
No more stupid than closing the beaches or chlorinated swimming pools.
Does the virus like UV light? Salt water? High temperatures? Sand? Nope. What do people at a beach naturally do? Spread out.
Where do you think you’re more likely to get this virus, at a local grocery store, or a swimming pool where you can smell the chorine in the air? Hell, that pool is probably one of the more safe places to be!!!
Why are we closing some of these things? Because you need to do something! Blind action for the sake of taking action and things where you have a fake moral objection to them or where people are happy and partying during these depressing times must be banned. We must all bow our heads and wear our masks together. But what do you think, will public schools open soon? You bet. Because with all those single moms and dual income households there are few politicians that will stand it the way of that.
Now you have mask Nazi’s. Businesses all trying to CYA and do things that are absurd but create the appearance they did something.
Politicians that take action just so they show leadership in crisis. But it’s mostly idiotic and in many cases literally counter productive, i.e. Quomo ordering Covid positive old folks be taken back into senior living homes.
This is so stupid it is embarrassing!
What is fascinating to me, is how extreme this “herd instinct is.” How fast and dynamic things are and how little is actually based on science and numbers.
Ronald Reagan once said, “The nine most terrifying words in the English language are: I’m from the government and I’m here to help.”
