All they are doing is slowing down the resolution. Flatten the curve meant same results over a longer period. Hoping to “save the health care system”. Ironically, the solution has actually placed more hospitals in financial difficulty, as other health needs are no longer attended to.

Two weeks vacation- to get all the ducks in a row and understand more about the virus was not a bad idea, but extending it is not a solution.

Cheap rapid tests and quarantine for sick and/or positive and treat with HCQ +zinc +zpak or antibody serum etc. Protect the fragile and elderly. Everyone take prophylactic measures such as HCQ +zinc or Quercetin +zinc etc. and get back to life as normal.

In my cynical mind I wonder if that was not another planned event.

Thousands of Americans are waiting for some type of "elective" surgery, knowing that they are on their own and at the mercy of the hospital staff with no husband or child to have their back once they are admitted to the hospital, because COVID=No Visitors Allowed.

Many can wait in pain but no real danger, while others may succumb to whatever could have been resolved by "elective" surgery.

I totally agree, except, I would qualify, protecting the elderly, to those who want it. I can protect myself, self-quarantining or whatever, but the young people need to live their lives!
