You and me and others like us. Don’t ever ever ever interpret anything I say to mean Republicans are on our side in Congress.

At this point that should just not have to be said.

We certainly retain the tendency to suffer evils while they are sufferable; but the point of course is to act before it’s too late, and the goal is to keep our Constitutional form of government rather than let anyone overthrow it.
