I turned on the Rangers Hurricanes hockey game at 12:00 today expecting to turn it off when the pre-game anthems were played and there were some sort of shenanigans & disrespect shown by players or announcers. Lo and behold to my surprise there was no tomfoolery at all. At least I can now watch hockey which is the sport I like most. Thank you NHL.

They are required to explain what the anthem has to do with racism. Much less any such organization.

I hope the NHL knows what’s coming - for if they do not, they won’t be able to hold up to this mob (which is nearly all hat and no cattle).

Your reference to the Bruins Blue Jackets is why I thought that I would have to shut it off. Lets see what happens going forward. I could still change my mind and not watch.
They can be as “woke” as they want. Just don’t push your wokeness on me.
Boston is the most overrated city with the most thin-skinned, pathetic sports fans I've ever seen.
After interacting with a bunch of them through my business for several years, I finally figured out what their problem is: They have such an inferiority complex about New York City that they spend all of their time and energy hating New York sports teams.
Interesting.
I know that there was the curse of Babe Ruth, which supposedly cursed the Red Sox in the 20th century.
But the Red Sox have won a number of World Series in the 21st century. And the Patriots have won a number of Super Bowls.
I don’t follow the NBA much at all, but understand that the Celtics are right up there, in terms of all time championships won in the NBA.
I guess I figure that Boston fans have had plenty to be happy about, without all this hating on New York.

Tried watching the Dallas Mavericks yesterday. Twelve players, all named EQUALITY, making an average of >$10,000,000 per year with health care, pensions, insurance. I would guess about 10 years of college (and two degrees) summed over the 12.
Pay me $10,000.000 a year and I will march for EQUALITY (after padding my bank account) 24x7.
And just like that the NHL took a big fat dump on the ice.
During the US Anthem they had some BLM dope take a knee while Subban and Nurse stood by with a hand on his shoulder.
Then he stood up for Oh, Canada.
It’s a sad day in the airborne house.
Rangers still suck! Sure wasn’t the King’s fault.
