There is a place in the outback not far from me where if you follow both Google and Apple you and everyone in your vehicle will die.
They have the road going off a 400 foot cliff. I have submitted corrections to both but in 7 years neither has fixed it.

GPS doesn’t stand for going places safely.

I’m sorry for laughing but I totally get that.

I live where the signal gets iffy in a lot of places and I swear, Google just makes it up as it goes along.

I won’t use GPS at all. I use maps. They are harder to find but they are out there. My kids all learned to read roadmaps and all prefer them. I have noticed that some people with GPS don’t notice anything until the voice directs them to notice something, like a turn. They have not looked a map, even a google map on line and if they get a bum steer they get no clue before they drive into the cow pasture and finally realize there is no pavement under them.
