All seriousness aside...I'm looking for the 22LR version for the wife. She no likee guns, and this is just a point and shoot revolver. Just in case she ever needs one at the last second. Yes, I'd make her shoot it some at the range for familiarity sake. I'd personally consider the 38 or 357, but doesn't look like there's a Ruger 40 in LCR. Also, any more, when I look at guns, I try to stick with one that aligns with the ammo supply I already have. May be your case..

I'm looking for the 22LR version for the wife. Get the 357 and load it with 38. Why? because it's heavier. The 38 LCR has a real painful kick to it.
