I don’t disagree with you on that, what I am saying is that the election delay tweet was pretty stupid. Trolling only works when you control events, not when they control you. Those saying he’s trolling on this are kidding themselves. It’s a diminishing returns approach and time is too short for it. Even Rollins on Dobbs’ show is losing patience with his refusal to campaign looking forward and Rollins has been in his camp all along, and is not someone who’s opinion we should easily dismiss. He was Reagan’s 1984 campaign chair and understands an incumbent’s approach.
I think it’s a combination of things.
1) Trying to push the govs into reopening.
2) Continuing to raise awareness of dangers of VBM
3) Energizing Rs on the VBM danger

Yes, this was an impulsive tweet, impulsive tweets are one of the President’s weaknesses-it is tanking the market,went down now almost 500 points to the minute he sent out that tweet and its not not good for bigger reasons. It is just feeding the Democratic perception of him as nut job-they dont’ need any more ammo.
This doesn’t help reelection chances and everything he does now should be focused on that, also makes one think that he knows he is behind-White House sending out spokespeople now to cover. Geez
Election day is set by Congress but you're right, they aren't going to delay it for Trump or anyone else.
