Mostly no. It’s so demonized by the left that most physicians and pharmacists are scared to dispense it.
Not scared, but ordered not to by some state pharmacy boards. In New Mexico pharmacies if someone is prescribed HCQ the Dr must provide the full diagnosis with the prescription proving a valid non covid need for the drug. they use the following in their guidelines
"inappropriate prescribing of hydroxychloroquine, chloroquine, and others that are being investigated for potential use in treating and preventing COVID-19".
When the state calls a Dr's action of prescribing a known, efficient treatment as "Inappropriate" then State officials are overriding the physician. That in itself should be chilling.
