That is a really ignorant idea. A President of the U. S. should not be using any media that he does not control to issue statements or opinions for general release to the public.
Trying to manipulate the public through an unreliable agent can and will backfire, and is not a very wise tactic for a public servant who ought to be consistent, reliable, shows foresight, and keeps his word.
Let me guess: The issue Twitter objects to is mot about hydroxychloroquine or any laymans opinion about it. The issue is using the social media to carry out a personal vendetta against Fauci and his like-minded pals, however uncompliant their opinions may be.
If that is true, Twitter is quite right in refusing to be used as a bludgeon in the hands of a capricious national figure. Nor should any other privately-controlled media forum whose viability depends on making its own decision to remain autonomous.
SCOTUS decision in 1946 (Marsh v Alabama) said free speech couldn’t be limited in “public square” even if the public square was privately owned.
“The Key to Defeating COVID-19 Already Exists. We Need to Start Using It.”
I am referring, of course, to the medication hydroxychloroquine. When this inexpensive oral medication is given very early in the course of illness, before the virus has had time to multiply beyond control, it has shown to be highly effective, especially when given in combination with the antibiotics azithromycin or doxycycline and the nutritional supplement zinc.
So, I guess you're saying that the President should just shut up since he doesn't control any media. Since all the media is against President Trump how, in "imardmd1's world", should he get his message out?
“The issue is using the social media to carry out a personal vendetta against Fauci and his like-minded pals...”
In other words, you regard anyone trying to alert the public to life-saving drugs and ending the pandemic to be a personal vendetta against Fauci. Really, now.
You are about as screwed up as Twitter when it come to Trump hatred.
I looked at your about page.
I think you might be on the wrong site.
