It’s always been funny to me that you can go into a drug store, and see entire aisles devoted to straightening hair and lightening skin, and other aisles to curling hair and tanning skin.

We want to be each other.

Not the same comparison sorry. It’s not embedded into the cultural DNA and psyche the same way whitening products are in India and other parts of Asia.
