Health officials in Middletown, New Jersey, are tracking a coronavirus cluster stemming from a teen party but are getting pushback from parents, according to reports.
Authorities said 20 partygoers between the ages of 15 and 19 are believed to have been exposed to the global pandemic at a house party on West Front Street in the city on July 11, ABC News reported Thursday.
But health department investigators say theyre facing resistance from the teens parents.
Were asking and pleading with parents and the students that may have attended that, Middletown Mayor Tony Perry told the station. Youre not in any trouble, but we want to break the back of this infection.

Instead of just clamping ankle monitors on them maybe we should load them on box cars and send them to camps for their own safety
Extreme pushback is required. Us Bible thumpers know where this leads to, problem today ( I can see it on this forum) is Americans have left God. God is first and foremost, if not, we witness what we are seeing. To many lukewarm Christians, and way to many Godless citizens who can not connect the dots.
Plenty of people in north Jersey died from this; the central and southern parts were more passive because it spread there later (and it is a less dense population).
The “kids” won’t die from it; the older and/or fatter people they know will. That’s how it played out up here.
