My daughter graduated from Sonoma State last year and had to take an ethnic studies course. She took one on Native Americans and went on a field trip to a casino.

This was a requirement at CSU when I graduated in 1974. So why is it now being reintroduced and when was it dropped? I took American Indian Ethno history and learned that the different tribes were always at war with one another, forming alliances and stealing land (hunting grounds). Just like nation states throughout the world’s history. And, that most Indian deaths were a result of disease and not because of “ethnic cleansing” as was taught by the professor. Was there “war crimes”? Of course, but on both sides.
If one wants to waste their money on this horseshit it up to them....you can bet that this institution has no problem with requiring this crap and charging one for it also!!!
