Exactly. The writer is claiming that the achievement gap is due to white parents playing an active role in their children’s education. The flip side to this statement is that black parents do not participate in their children’s education. Is the writer implying that white parents need to disengage from their children’s education in order to close the achievement gap?
There are always two ways one could go on this:
1) Recommend that some people (Whites) do a worse job.
2) Recommend that some people (Blacks) do a better job.
Since #2 is obviously racist, the Left must recommend that White people should start doing a much worse job raising their children.
