It was expected that several players from the Yankees and Nationals would take a knee during or prior to the national anthem on Opening Day. Though, it wasn’t widely expected that every player and coach from both teams would do it.
But, that’s exactly what happened.
The players knelt in protest in front of an empty stadium. MLB has closed their stadiums to fans during their abbreviated season due to the coronavirus.
After the death of George Floyd and the ensuing civil unrest that has swept through the country since late May, MLB has become more vocal on social justice issue. The league’s social media accounts have tweeted dozens of Black Lives Matter messages. In addition, MLB has stenciled Black Lives Matter on the pitchers mounds in all ballparks during their opening weekend.

You who take a knee to anyone other than God Almighty have chosen your lot in eternity, I actually feel sorry for you. I will pray that you follow Gods will, repent(means changing your mind about needing a savior) and be saved, no one can do it on their own.

They do this because we care about the National Anthem being respected.
It’s an act of hatred. Giving us the finger. If they could pee on the flag they would do that instead... We get that... They hate our country, us, our founding fathers, and our country’s anthem.
OK,it’s a free country.
Pass a law forbidding profit making organizations from using the National Anthem. They hate the song anyhow ... Let them open their games with rap music and twerkers grinding it out. It would be a better fit.
I'm done with all of them too. I'm glad to see public figures like Dan Bongino and Mark Levin starting to openly share how they are also done now with all this nonsense.
They can pander to the rioters and looters and have them attend games..hopefully when their team loses they tear the place apart.

Was driving home today in metro Atlanta, about 6:30pm car driving ahead of me 20 something black guy run of the mill Japanese mid size car had the letters randomly placed on back, maybe 3 inch black decals ALM.
I was like wtf?
There are some against this thing, hopefully more than we know.
