Terrible! My wife and I lived in house on Crooked Lake not far from Frostproof. Beautiful area with a lot of lakes. Crime then was no problem.
Sounds like it was still a beautiful place, as these young men felt safe enough to go fishing late at night.
All it takes is a few evil people to cause so much pain. Heartbreaking.
