“Your best best is generally straight Medicare A/B with a supplement.”
I tried to talk my parents to get back into that, they haven’t listened yet (this is dealing with another state, but I suspect it’s no different - go to Advantage, and your plan weakens...but it is cheaper, as I understand it).
What lacks is the ability to compare advantage plans, side by side. The industry doesn’t want that anymore than the auto insurance industry does.
Keep the customer paying and guessing.
Has anyone here had any experience with ?
Southern-Owners Insurance Company aka Auto-Owners Insurance Group ?
Right on.
I have straight Medicare with Mutual of Omaha supplement.
I was in the hospital recently....the bill was over $20,000....and I paid nothing, nada, zero out of my pocket. (Of course, there is a modest deductible I must pay every year).
My premium is a little over $500 a month, which ain't EZ....but it's worth it in the long run as you get older.
