Frankly, I see the Q thread as the essence of early FR. We are charting the unpopular territory in a way, and the mainstream does not accept that. Wondering if beyond the trees, FR is becoming mainstream.
The masses should never control the narrative. Not that others are always right, but others should get their say, per the first amendment of the US constitution.
I agree. have said it before. FR started on the "conspiracy" that the Clintons were a dangerous crime family. Bill Clinton is a rapist, there was drug running through Mena, AR (with Bush involved) etc., etc. Now if THAT isn't a conspiracy what is?? I know, I was here lurking even before I signed on in October 1998. I met freepers, went to events, took photos at a Clinton/Gore protest and had a building owner in the vicinity pull me aside and question what was on my film roll, then follow me into a bathroom and question me some more and claim he "doesn't want to end up in the trunk of a car" if his buildings were in the background of my photos. Antone wanna talk Conspircy?? You wanna tell ME FR wasn't founded on that fact?
So the big beef against QAnon is "The conspiracy that there is a deep state trying to stage a coup against a sitting President"
If anyone doubts there has been a coup attempt against the President... Then I have some beachfront property on Little Saint James to sell you.
Don’t be deceived.
FR is headed down the same road?
Don’t get comfy with our “little corner of lesser notoriety”.
Look.
Designated safe-space and restrictions for our thread...
Certain words (originally attributed to QAnon and ochokun) banned...
Many have seen it coming and warned...
Already, we see the goalposts being moved regarding content...
All it will take is one FR “resident” to post specific forbidden content...
Or, engage a server-farm (did you know that Bezos owns the largest amount of server farms in the world?) to DDoS the FR site...
Or, complain about our thread’s affect on a FReep-a-thon...
Now that Twitter leads, this thread will have a delicate life-balance.
I tend to agree for a number of reasons... AND, I date back far enough to hold such an opinion. ;^) {bitt is one good reason}
