Does insurance even cover vandalism in riots? If it does why did Minneapolis ask for federal assistance.

It depends on the insurance company. Somewhere in my rambling readings, I ran across something that indicated that certain businesses and insurance companies did indeed allow such coverage.

And thus there were certain businesses that had agreed that it was ok to target their business-cause the losses would be covered and they were down with the cause.

Follow up on my previous answer-like I said it depends on the insurance company-many do not cover such things. But remember that the guy who had insurance on WTC, recovered for the 9/11 attack-as if it was 2 separate incidents.
