I now live in a Constitutional Carry State. Even though I can Carry Legally here, I am applying for a CCW so I can have Reciprocal Carry in the 30 (plus) States that allow it.
As an aside, I am still surprised that the great State of Texas does not allow Constitutional Carry given their historical reputation as a bastion of Freedom and Individualism.
That has to do with Joe Strauss and his successors. Governor Abbott said he would sign Constitutional Carry or Open Carry, whichever the legislature would send to him. OC was what got to his desk.
