It amazes me how many people don’t know that the stolen valor law was rescinded many years ago.
Many states have such laws. Missouri is one.

Stolen valor act of 2005 was declared unconstitutional in 2011. Too broad for the genteel justices. So, modified version passed in 2013. Indeed, it is a fed misdemeanor to falsely use medals for profit....
