QAnon’s Fox News Cameo: The Conspiracy Theory’s Latest Breakout Moment
Forbes ^

The head of the NYPD union, Ed Mullins, gave an interview to Fox News Friday from his home office with a QAnon coffee mug noticeably tucked in the background, becoming the latest public figure appearing to reference the deep-state conspiracy theory whose followers the FBI has deemed “conspiracy theory-driven domestic terrorists.”

Mullins told the Huffington Post that he had “no idea” what QAnon was and said neither the office nor mug belonged to him (he refused to tell the outlet who the office belonged to).

President Trump: While the president has never explicitly endorsed the conspiracy, he has retweeted messages from accounts supporting the QAnon countless times, including 14 times on July 4th alone, according to Politico.

Eric Trump: The president’s middle son promoted the theory in an Instagram post ahead of his father’s rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, last month (he deleted the post two hours after posting.)

Dan Scavino: The White House deputy communications director posted a photo in March with the letter “Q,” the symbol for the conspiracy theory.

Michael Flynn: Trump’s first national security adviser posted a video on Twitter reciting the QAnon pledge, "Where we go one, we go all!," on July 4th

So what Forbes? Why are things on the right always treated as though they are conspiracies, but leftist and RAT made up drivel, lies and fake news treated as though it is truthful and allowed to be treated as main stream?

" . . . the deep-state conspiracy theory whose followers the FBI has deemed “conspiracy theory-driven domestic terrorists.”

I'm not a fan or follower of Q, but how many crimes have its followers committed in recent months, compared to those of Antifa and BLM? What's the tally for acts of arson, looting, vandalism, assault, and murder for people affiliated with Q versus those affiliated with Antifa and BLM? 1 or 2 versus 50,000?

Or more importantly what is the crime ratio to the FBI and the deep state. Much much lower for sure.

whose followers the FBI has deemed “conspiracy theory-driven domestic terrorists.”

Written in one memo from one agent in the Arizona field office. Hardly FBI policy.

According to Media Matters, a progressive watchdog group, there are 64 current or former candidates running for Congress who have promoted the messages of “Q.”

Surprising fact

Media Matters also reports that Trump has “amplified” QAnon Twitter accounts at least 185 times in total as of July 7. Tangent

According to an analysis conducted by the New York Times last year, some 23,000 of Trump’s Twitter followers had QAnon references in their profiles.

I am convinced Q is complete disinformation—probably designed to confuse the bad guys, but blowback can be a b&^%$!

I think is partially a back channel designed to get input from millions of people in hopes that something missed by Trump’s DOJ can be useful... and millions to counter some kind of Russian-type revolution.

If it's not a thing, or any big deal....why can't they stop writing about it?

🤔

I've often wondered that exact thing. It certainly is a puzzlement. Its almost like they're demonizing it to keep people from paying attention to it.

They wouldn't do that though, right?

Exactly... and pretty interesting how the media keeps writing how dangerous Q is over and over, yet not one has asked Trump about it in any of the numerous times he has been taking questions in his live pressers, even though he keeps retweeting Q followers, not to mention there are now quite a few congressional candidates that have won their primaries who have openly talked about Qanon.

It can all be put to rest if someone in the White House media room, or someone on Fix News interviewing Trump would simply ASK THE QUESTION.
