I mean, sure, we can all say we’re “children of the Beatles.” After all, almost all of us grew up listening to their music, and at least some of us feel as though we were influenced by the Fab Four. But how many of us can say that we’re their actual children? None of us. There are, however, 16 individuals who can say that they are literally the children of The Beatles.

Most are their biological children, but a few were adopted or are their step-children. In the list below, you can not only see the unmistakable similarity between the sons and daughters and their fathers, but you can see that the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. A lot of these Beatles descendent – some still young, some mature adults – are pretty talented music artists themselves.

"The Beatles were superstars in England way before they did the Ed Sullivan show in February 1964."

The Beatles at The Cavern August 1962

"However, I prefer their pre-1967 output to their post Sgt Pepper output."

Me too. Actually I liked what they did through Rubber Soul and Revolver, I wasn't a Sgt Pepper's fan. And some of their later stuff was terrible.

"Arguably the most talented band in rock history."

That's what their fellow British musicians sure thought at the time, some of them names we know well. They found the Beatles' talent intimidating.

My older siblings saw the Beatles play in 1964 at Forest Hills, NY. The said there was so much screaming you couldn’t hear the music.

"I enjoy both bands."

I do too!   I think the Beatles were great!

Here's a couple clips I found on youtube which I found quite interesting.   The first one is a bunch of famous people (including some Beatles, some Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, and several other "stars"), having a lot of fun doing an old Beatles song.

       "I Saw Her Standing There"

The next clip is part of Mick Jagger's speech at the induction of the Beatles into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame, also many years ago.

"Animals.....lotsa hits"

A brief side note -- with just a little tweaking and doctoring up of the lyrics, this song could be turned into a sort of anthem, in response to this current lockdown/quarantine/homebound-isolation:

"We Gotta Get Out Of This Place" - The Animals
