That's so funny, they're so cute. Not so much fun when the rabbit's got the gun. In a national emergency, an insurrection, a rebellion, does the President not have the ability to override the right of HABEAS CORPUS until the end of the emergency?

Well, Lincoln did it, but didn’t the Supremes say it was unconstitutional? Since the Patriot Act and all the NDAAs since then it is no telling what can be done in a state of emergency—likely many shocking things.
