We had a family reunion (dumbest thing ever, all seniors) and met at Disney Epcot third week of February for four days. When we returned, my husband became ill within the week. Complete exhaustion, sleeping constantly, aching throat, congestion. I became sick within three days of him. Similar symptoms, but I had a fever, aching throat and could not wake up. It went into my chest, and I kept saying, “I have never had a cold like this before.” Took us both about ten days to feel better. We now wonder if it was COVID. (Would never go back to Disney, wasn’t worth it even if we weren’t sick.)
I’m still coughing crap up 7 months later!
There was something going around. I almost never get flu, but got something in Feb which took a while to shake off.
