You couldn’t make it up except that it’s actually true. It would be interesting to see the demographics of the places that so many of the protestors come from.

I think it started with “This Car Brakes For Animals” and “Baby On Board” back in the early- to mid-70s.
That’s just my personal observation. Virtue signaling may have started before that. I suppose you could say that wearing a Crucifix pin or necklace is virtue signalling too.

(PS, by driving through, I actually add a tiny percentage point to the “Native American” demographic. Also, the total absence of Indians is rather ironic, considering the role they played in the First Thanksgiving! LOL!)
