Jackson’s 13th Congress. Dist — Bet he’s singing about now “Gonna Make the Red River Valley my home”.
Not being from Tx I thought I’d wander over and see what this 13th Congressional Dist looks like. It is gigantic! the entire panhandle plus some. 40,000 sq miles — 19th largest district in area in US.
Current Rep Thornberry(R) chose not to seek re-election. Dem totals in their runoff tonight are dim in numbers == this is definitely a Repub District.
